How to Use

  1. Before applying, section your hair as shown in the illustration.
  2. Wearing included gloves, apply Masque, combing through for even coverage.
    • For rich color results: apply on clean dry hair.
    • For softer results: apply on towel-dried hair.
  3. Let sit for up to 10 minutes.
  4. Work Masque into a lather and rinse.
  5. Style as you normally would.
  6. Use your Masque again when you’d like to boost your pigmented color or give your hair extra nourishment.

Our personalized hair care products are made to order and are carefully formulated for your hair type and goals. While everyone's hair will take our pigmented products differently, darker hair colors may not show our pigments as vibrantly as lighter hair colors. That being said, certain pigment shades will enhance darker hair colors beautifully or add a subtle dash of color that's most visible in natural light.

If you find that your clothes, tile, or tub have a splash of pigment on them, don't panic. While the stain is fresh, throw your clothes in the wash or use a household cleaner to wipe up any mess. You can prevent stains by wearing a dark shirt when applying your masque and have a dark towel nearby for any post-shower cleanup.

This depends on a couple of things, like how often you wash your hair and the condition of your hair. Our semi-permanent pigments will gradually fade with each shampoo. To maintain the color you achieved with your pigmented masque for a longer period of time, we recommend purchasing a pigmented conditioner in a matching shade.

Our pigmented products are not designed to cover gray hair. If you typically cover your grays with demi or permanent hair color, AURA's pigmented products can be used to enhance your current shade or give it an extra boost of color, but they won't replace the color you use to cover grays.
