While both are designed for your specific hair goals, our Masques are rich rejuvenating treatments for your hair, while our Conditioners are designed for daily nourishment. Additionally, when you add a temporary pigment to our Masques, you’ll receive a richer color transformation than you will with our Conditioners, which maintain your pigment over time.
What’s the best way to use my personalized Masque?
Work your Masque through wet or dry hair from roots to ends in sections, and let it sit for 5-10 minutes. Then rinse, dry, and go.
Can I add a pigment to my Masque?
Yes! Whether you want to try a Color Enhancing Pigment to transform or enhance your hair or offset unwanted tones with a Neutralizer, we have a variety of pigments to choose from. Take our Quiz to select your pigment preference. Keep in mind that you can always change your formula if you decide to skip adding a pigment this time or want a new color next time.
Are AURA Masques safe for my color?
Absolutely. All of our Masques are safe for color-treated hair. If your hair is overprocessed, we recommend including color protection as one of your main goals in our Quiz. This will ensure your formula is extra focused on color protection.
Is a hair mask the same as a hair Masque?
Yes, a hair mask and hair Masque are essentially the same hair care product. The difference with our Masque is that is completely personalized to your needs instead of a pre-made formula.
